How To Bloom Into Myself

Right before I sat down to write this, I felt a tightness in my throat. Sometimes that’s an indicator that I need to write, speak, or express in some way. I don’t always know what I need to express right away, which is why free writing everything and anything or speaking into our voice memo app really helps us find it… and then we can communicate it.

Knowing ourselves, who we are, and the way our body communicates to us takes time, practice, patience, and self-trust.

Most of us have spent a life time not developing the muscle of self-trust. So the muscle takes time. To know the difference between anxiety and intuition takes time. To know the difference between what’s yours and what’s someone else’s takes time. To know the difference between real fear and F.E.A.R. (false evidence appearing real) takes time. To understand what the sensation or symptom your body is chronically expressing takes time.

The mind grasps at wanting to know. The anxious mind and body will do anything for certainty.

A mind desperate for certainty is a messenger. There’s something happening underneath the chokehold of intrusive thoughts and rumination. Usually it’s a suppressed/repressed emotion that’s not being felt. A fear that’s not being communicated. A body memory that doesn’t feel safe to resolve. A traumatic experience or event that needs your attention.

I don’t subscribe to a one size fits all, but for me, it’s been all of the above.

A huge piece of clearing chronic anxiety and overwhelm, is about learning how to resource yourself, to support the sheer uncertainty of life itself.

The uncertainty of what each day may bring.

Even when we think we have it all planned out.

We need a wide window of tolerance in the nervous system to successfully hold uncertainty, doubt, and worry without it debilitating us. We need to know how to regulate our nervous system when we get dysregulated.

We need to know what to do when our heart starts beating fast out of nowhere and our body tenses up in terror.

We need to know what to do when panic arises.

We need to know what supports us and holds us, so that we can learn how to hold ourselves.

And if you’re chronically anxious, you’re likely going to need a lot more structured and grounded support than you think you do.

You need a system that really works.

You need support from someone who intends to keep the innate healing power you have, inside of your hands.

I know what’s needed to support you even when you’re on the floor wailing in tears.

Because I’ve been there.

Women who have worked with me have completely blossomed in front of my eyes.

They have grown greater regulatory capacity and flexibility in their nervous system.

They have gone from thinking they have zero tolerance to cold water to staying in the PNW ocean for 20 minutes.

They have gone from hand crippling Reumathoid Arthritis pain to significantly reduced RA pain.

They have gone from feeling too overwhelmed to sit still and journal to being able to sit still and journal.

They have learned what boundaries are and how to communicate them.

They have gone on their first ever solo international vacation.

They have gone from thinking they were to0 riddled with anxiety, to exploring a career they wanted to try, to setting up interviews and getting the role they wanted.

They have taken conscious and intentional space from their mother for their healing.

They have developed a much more secure attachment to self.

They have held their inner child & reparented themselves which has bettered their romantic relationship.

They have learned how to self soothe when fearful thoughts are at their loudest.

They have learned how to trust themselves more deeply.

They have learned how to make decisions based on their body response to the opportunity.

They have developed the capacity in their body to begin creating the life they actually want to live.

And that doesn’t even cover it all.

What I know, what I teach, and what I embody - provides a beautiful framework and structure that sets you up for the inner work that chronic anxiety is calling you towards.

It’s not an easy ride. It’s a messy, painful, emotional, and “oh my gosh why is life so terrible today” kind of journey. It’s shadow work. It’s heavy. It’s not a dance party.

The journey is unique and there are basic frameworks that will deeply support and set you on the path to becoming free from chronic and debilitating anxiety.

My work covers a lot of ground, but working with me might not be the only thing you’ll need.

If I had known what I now provide when I was in my darkest nights, I wouldn’t have walked around in that dark for as long as I did (for years).

Because when things get rough and you are alone with intrusive fearful thoughts, uncomfortable sensations, and a hyper-vigilant body that just won’t settle - you’ll want some resources to lean into.

You’ll want to know what to do, where to go, how to hold yourself.

This comes as a result of working with me one to one.

If you’d like deeper clarity and a calm path forward, book in here. You will leave feeling calm & clear, along with insight and understanding of what your body is alerting you towards.

If you already know you’d like to step two feet in to working with me - you can read the details & apply for Bloom.

We always grow better, together.

All my love,

Emiscah
